11 Commercial HVAC Contractors in Broomfield, CO

Commercial HVAC in Broomfield operates within Denver's semi-arid continental climate, where summer highs reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit and January lows drop to around 18 degrees. The 5,280-foot altitude reduces air conditioning capacity by 10 to 15 percent, forcing technicians to size systems well beyond standard nameplate BTU ratings to maintain performance. With 16 contractors serving the area and an average rating of 3.8 across nearly 7,900 reviews, the local market reflects steady demand driven by these altitude-related challenges and seasonal temperature swings.

Annual maintenance contracts for a single rooftop unit typically range from $550 to $2,200, while small business buildings under 5,000 square feet generally fall between $1,100 and $5,500 annually. Mid-size commercial properties from 5,000 to 25,000 square feet see annual contract costs spanning $3,850 to $11,000, with pricing influenced by system complexity and building occupancy. Since Colorado does not require statewide HVAC licensing, contractors in Broomfield comply with city and county regulations, so business owners should verify local credentialing before signing service agreements.
